STARCLUB Field Officers

The STARCLUB Field Officer Program is a partnership between the Office for Recreation and Sport and 30 regional Councils. The program works with sport and recreation clubs and associations in regional communities to help them develop and prosper.

The STARCLUB Field Officer Program Strategic Plan 2015-18 has been developed by the Office for Recreation and Sport in consultation with STARCLUB Field Officers and partnering regional councils to provide clear direction for the many program stakeholders.

The 2015-18 program will aim to build a capable and sustainable industry in the regions by:

  • providing a vital and valued link between stakeholders;
  • developing well managed and sustainable clubs;
  • building clubs and associations capacity to deliver quality programs; and
  • insuring effective management and use of sport and recreation facilities
